Port of Bristol YFC are pleased to announce a plan to find new homes for 'football equipment' that our players may of outgrown or just no longer use anymore within our age groups.
With many of our parents regularly ordering new club attire or buying new boots for their children, who seem to be constantly growing all the time, we wanted to create ways to make use of the items that are no longer needed by them.
This does not just help parents keep costs low, it saves perfectly good items going to waste and also raises money for the football club to reinvest into the players.
This is great way to help try keep our players in the game with a recent report from Utilita's State of Play showing that out of the 74 per cent of families who had been impacted financially by the pandemic, 18 per cent will not be able to send their children back to grassroots football as they cannot afford boots and other items, such as goalie gloves and shin pads.
To find what we currently have you will have to use the link via our club shop on our website, this will be constantly updated. Any donations can be made via your coaches.
