Champions At Two Age Groups

Port of Bristol Youth are so pleased to announce that two of our age groups have managed to win their respective leagues. Both our U9 and U14 age groups last weekend were crowd champions and everyone within the club would like to congratulate the players in their achievements.

Playing in their final game of the Spring U10 League the team coaches already knew that the children had won this U10 competition, because the opponents on the day, Shirehampton Colts lost the week before 6-5 to Bristol Pirates.

In an excellent contested game, our U9s were unable to keep their 100% record finally losing 2-1.

The fact the children were playing a year up, they must be commended.

A massive well done to all of our U14s who have won the Avon Youth League Division 4, doing this on the last day of the season on goal difference.

The boys travelling away to DRG Frenchay didn't know how Stoke Lane would do, who had to travel away to Yate United. The U14s went out and recorded a 7-0 which was enough as Stoke Lane were only able to record a 3-1 win.

Well done to the players, very well deserved.
