Winter Training To Start Tonight

05/10/2020

The club, starting from tonight have now moved all training to St Bedes for the winter months. With this in mind we wanted to give our parents some information giving we are in new surroundings and are in unusual times.

Parent Viewing Area
No parents are allowed on court and must stay on the running track if they wish to watch their child train.
Collection & Drop Off

The car park can become very congested at St Bedes so please try and park away from site. If you do park on site and are staying with your child to watch training please both stay in your car until the gate is open, so we can limit the number of people waiting to enter the playing area.

Your child will be released by their coach at the end of the session by the nearest gate accessible to where their training has taken place. Please step back from the exit so the coach can release your children, again minimising the number of people in a small area.

ALL CHILDREN NEED TO BE RELEASED TO A PARENT AT END OF SESSION UNLESS COACH IS NOTIFIED BY PARENT

Session Numbers

We as a club have been restricted to only having 30 people per third of the court. This may hinder some of our age groups and coaches may request in advance who intends to attend training, similar to how we do for matches. Please comment ASAP so coaches can design session plans and put provisions in place if needed.

Sanitising Of Hands

This will be made available to coaches and players and will be stationed within the designated drinking area for each squad. Players must do the following:

  • On arrival they need to put their drink down and then sanitise their hands before continuing onto the session their coach has set up.
  • Before collecting their water bottles, they must sanitise their hands and join their line to be released to parents waiting in the parent viewing area. If a parent is not collecting then a coversation needs to be held between those parents and the coach before the session commences.

Please do not hesitate to contact anyone if you have a question either directly to the club or through your child's coach.
