100 Goals For Our U12s

Port of Bristol U12s showed what we are all about as a club, having fun, moving forward with confidence and team ethics...all three were shown in abundance on Sunday.

In an 8-1 win, what was so pleasing was the outfield players wanted the goalkeeper to take the lead if they were to reached this milestone in the game, which he did by actually scoring their 100th goal of this season. With the score at 4-1, one of the outfield players went in between the sticks and within minutes our usual keeper made it 5-1 and the 100th goal was scored.

The boys also planned a celebration, involving everyone in the team, if this target was met, something one of the parents managed to catch on camera.

Well done everyone within this age group for reaching such a milestone, but also more importantly for being considerate to your team mates...a great trait to have at such a young age.
