Coaches Still Working Hard Throughout Covid-19

Port of Bristol Youth have been working very hard behind the scenes during lockdown, ensuring we have a functional football club whenever we return. Pitch repairs, upgrading of the changing rooms as well as many of our age groups having an opportunity to train, with most of the coaches delivering online training sessions. 

Some have really pushed the boat out for their players, ensuring that development, although in different way to usual can continue. Individual skill videos have been provided, that show a breakdown of the activity to the children, enabling them to comprehend the task set.

 

Alongside these videos some have set homework which coincides with school work as well as setting team challenges that tap into the social side of the FA Four Corners. This is something we believe is as important than ever for team bonding giving the current situation we all find ourselves in.

No one can say with certainty when normality will return and what it will look like within grassroots football when it does. As a club we will be there though, to continue our development as a club, our players development both as people and as young footballers and for you as parents.
