Dog Fouling Issues Continue

Despite continued efforts to 'educate', many people are still using the grounds to walk their dogs which has been very frustrating, giving the health concerns from owners leaving mess. 

Since May 1st, we have had 38 incidences of dog mess on pitches and that amounts to almost one a day. What I find hard to believe is why dog owners feel the need to walk their dogs on these sport grounds, let alone leave dog mess, with two fields either side of the venue. With this in mind and continued talks with Bristol City Council as well as the PBA Sport & Social Club, the main gate will start being locked, with further action planned to ensure dog owners know that it is not acceptable to walk their pets on these sport grounds.

We have 250+ local children now enjoying this wonderful sport, expanding this further this summer and we need to ensure measures are put in place for their safety.
