PBA To Open It Ground To The Community

15/05/2020

As from Thursday and in light of goverment guidance of the slow and measured relaxation of lockdown rules, we will be opening the top gate of our site from 8am until 8pm each day so that our members and the wider community can use our grounds. We will be following Govt guidance that states:

What can I do that I couldn't do before?

There will be a limited number of things you can do that you cannot do now:

  • spend time outdoors - for example sitting and enjoying the fresh air, picnicking, or sunbathing
  • meet one other person from a different household outdoors - following social distancing guidelines
  • exercise outdoors as often as you wish - following social distancing guidelines
  • use outdoor sports courts or facilities, such as a tennis or basketball court, or golf course - with members of your household, or one other person while staying 2 metres apart
Please do not use the seating or terrace but feel free to bring seating (blankets, camping chairs of your own) if you need to sit down.
Please keep our site tidy, leave nothing behind from your visit, take all of your rubbish with you (we haven't got rubbish collections presently). Also as of now we will not be permitting dogs anywhere on site any longer. Even with our latest attempts to keep dogs off of the pitches where children play there were always the minority that let dogs foul and didn't pick it up.
We feel that as dog owners have had to find alternative places to exercise their pets, now is the most opportune time to keep the site cleaner and healthier for all going forwards.
We hope that you can appreciate our grounds for your health and well being, will act sensibly, and respect the health and safety of all.
We will also keep you updated on our efforts to open up the club in the future, re-start events, and clubs, all the while keeping as safe as possible.

Many thanks and take care
